OT~ Friend of a friend is having a baby. She has nothing! What are some basics? Update-

Okay, I feel a little better now. Even with everyone talking to him and giving advice, he said, "Annie I wish you was here to help me."

He got back to me. He said that's all good and well but doesn't know how much space they have. Then he thanked another friend for offering their used crib to the couple. That was slightly irritating because aside from the playpen, nothing I mentioned would really take up a lot of room. Oh well. I tried.

My friend on Facebook told me that a couple friends of his are having their first baby. They have no money and only a car seat. He's thinking of throwing them a baby shower and getting them a few things. But being a childless man, he has no idea what.

Here's a list of things I suggested so far.

Playpen

Reclining umbrella stroller

Swing

Hygiene kit

Reclining bath seat

Baby wash rags, shampoo and lotion

Socks, hats and onsies (different sizes)

Boppy pillow

Diapers in different sizes and wipes.

Can you think of anything else?

I will not have a temper tantrum nor stomp across the floor.

I will not pout, scream or shout or kick against the door.

I will not throw my food around nor pick upon another.

I’ll always try to be real good because I am the mother.

I am the mother.

I am the mother.

Baby wash rags are also good substitutes if you run out.
