If I'm typing or writing & don't remember " i before e, except after c, or when sounded as "a," as in neighbor and weigh," I'll usually type their wrong. But, since their is considered an irregular word that doesn't fit the i before e except after c rule, I'm a firm believer in spell check!

Necessary gets me. I have to spell it neccesary, neccessary, necessary. I know there are double letters in there, just not sure where.

This is me as well as my daughter.  It doesn't help we are dyslexic either.

The list is just to long to post! I have always been a terrible speller. Even though I read all the time & have a vast vocabulary I can not spell to save my life. So I love spell check!

Spelling (language arts in general, actually) is my strong suit, so I do not often misspell words. I do, however, type very fast, and my eyesight isn't great, so I *always* use spell check, lol.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff:  we're Catholic, we're conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee

Idk but that always confuses me. I always want to write doughnut, but then everyone says it's wrong.

Quoting KickButtMama:

I'm terrible at remembering silent letters in the English language. And I'm unsure when 'Doughnut' became 'Donut' .....which just confuses me further.
