DS used it for 7th grade. It was OK. I prefer Easy Grammar

I vaguely remember using that in my middle school. I think it was fine.

It was used in my elementary school. I still remember the jingles.

I guess I'm going to have to keep looking and then try and make decision. So far it's between this and rid and staff. We aren't religious so I'm a little unsure of r&s....

I went to a Shurley workshop years ago and still remember "Preposition, preposition, Starting with an A......" LOL.

we just started it for third grade. We used Horizons from AOPublishing since preK. Had to adapt it to us, of course, and it takes about an hour each day, but I love it and really feel as if I'm teaching for retention. We definitely made the jingles more jingel-y, though. I found it used for 6 bucks, too. Check your local 1/2 off used book store!

HTH!

I'm glad it's working out so well for you. $6! That's an amazing find!

Just a note about R&S, it has been good for my kids, but it is very full of scripture and examples and info about the mennonite lifestyle.
