We're going to a birthday party for a little friend and mom suggested books when I asked for gift suggestions. I was thinking of getting early chapter books. Suggestions?

How about the Never Girl series. It is new but my 7 year old loves it and it is a fairly easy read.

Chapter books? I don't think I know any for 5 year olds.
