Our daughters are only in 6th and 7th grade and I know I don't need to worry about it right now.  But I am one to be prepared, we live in Illinois and I am trying to find out infomation on what curriculums we have to go through in order for them to be able to get a diploma.

Thanks in advance.

Did you ask this is the other group? I know I replied but sometimes my phone loses my posts.

Every state is different. Some require copies of your book/curriculum list, others require yearly testing. Some require nothing more than mom writing up a diploma.

You can issue your own diploma.

You might try checking out the Home Scholar site:  http://www.thehomescholar.com/Lee Binz has a lot of good information about how to home school high school -- including what you should be doing before high school starts.  It's not specific to each state's requirements, but it does suggest how you go about making sure you are compliant.
