Is anyone currently enrolled in a RN to BSN transition program? Have you fairly recently completed a RN to BSN bridge program? What was your experience? What school did you complete your BSN through? Was it entirely online, hybrid, or in class? Were you working full-time, part-time, or PRN as a RN...or not at all?
I graduate in December with my ADN and would like to go directly into a BSN bridge program...hence why I am asking these questions. Any information is appreciated : )
You should check Western Carolina University. They have a RN to BSN that is all online. It is a 2 year part time (6 hours a term) program. It is designed for a working RN to be able to do it. There are several people that are in the program with me that are looking it to it.

Oh man! I'm hoping to find a school here in Colorado that offers that. In January I start some of my pre-req's and a couple pre-req's for m ypre-req's for nursing. LOL hope that made sense! :) I want to get an associates so I can be working and then get my BSN.
I graduated the RN-BSN program in May of 2010. I went to the University of Toledo. It was a good experience. Most of my classes were done online. Some of my electives I did on campus. I also had clinicals that were done in the community. I was working per diem when I did the program.
I'm currently working on my MSN and that is all online except for my clinicals and a few on campus intensives that I have to attend.
There are also some universities that offer an RN-MSN bridge program if that is something you are interested in.
