A&P grades question

For those of you already in your nursing programs, what grades did you get in A&P?  I'm in my second sequence of three and am on track to get all "B's"...GRRR>  1st term, was a 89.0% (B), this term is looking like it will also be an 89.0%.  I am beyond frustrated that I am 1.0% off from having straight A's.  So, I am wondering how many of you got in with B's in A&P?

I have A's in everything else, (math, nutrition, english, etc), but I can't seem to make the grade with A&P and I really don't wan't to have to retake any of the sequences.

Why would you retake it for getting a B? That's just wasting a lot of time that you could be using to further your degree. In nursing you'll learn as you go along and start practicing. I'm working on my masters in nursing and if I retook every class that I got a B is, I wouldn't be at this point.

I had a B and got in my first try. I know several who had B's in A&P, but we had A's in our other classes and had a good overall GPA. I wouldn't retake a class for having a B, you have A's in everything else!

The nursing secretary gave me a tip that I think made a difference. She said to call and check in, ask questions (even if you've asked it several times), after you apply call and check on your application status. I called once a month for a year. LOL, I personally feel like it made a difference.

Thanks ladies! I just get overwhelmed I guess. The nursing programs here are extremely competitive and I want to get in so badly, the first time I apply. (I've got a 3 year old and one due in March). So, delaying school is not an option. I appreciate your advice. I've been seeing the nursing advisor at least once a term for the past year. Any tips on how to do well on the written essay's, (proctored), for admittance?

I have a C in, my program is a self contained one. Im already in Nursing school w/pre-req's built in. We dont compete for a spot we already have it. We have a&p tue /wed each wk, we study 2 chapters which is roughly a hundred or so pages and then test on those chapters the following wk. We are glad to be getting a C...

Don't retake some schools figure your GPA with ALL classes on your transcripts, even the retaken courses. I got B's in my A&P
