What does water, a length of rope, vinegar and my dog all have in common?

Training tools!

Oh my. My dog has been driving me nuts lately! She won`t leave the kittens alone. She jumps on the kids and chews on them. When we go to the off leash park, she runs off and won`t listen to me. She`s even chased some poor joggers. They didn't know she was friendly :-/

So...I found that a spray bottle full of water and a little bit of vinegar stops her from messing with the cats and the kids. She`s stopped jumping too. I`ve only used it twice :-)

And when we go off leash, I attach a long 100 ft. rope. That way when I call her, all I have to do is reel in the rope. It works like a charm!

I've got a very spastic husky that likes to jump also and no way can we take her off leash, she would be in Alaska before we knew it.

Glad you found something that is working for you.

You should totally try it! I make a loud noise when I sprayed her, now that`s all I have to do and she stops.

And the rope is fantastic. I just have to be 100 feet behind her to catch her

We had to resort to a choke chain to walk her because she kept breaking out of her regular collars or eating her leashes.
