Halloween wedding help? piog

ok me and df have been planning our wedding for a year now even before i got pregnant, anyway we were talking about the date because we were so set on halloween and we were thinking...no one will show up....all the people that would go have kids or do stuff on halloween....sooo any ideas? i was thinking since people would be busy on halloween we could do it on the 25th its my great grandmas 93rd birthday it would be cool for her...my df thinks its a bad idea sooo any suggesttions? and were just doing a court house wedding we are doing our own special thing at his parents house though

I say go for what day you want. My brother got married on our great grandparents anniversary...


of course, I was BORN on my grandparents anniversary...

Why not the 25th? I think its a great idea. You can still have your Halloween theme without everyone missing out. Congrats by the way.

i heard a black frosting cake is taboo....for  a wedding celebration  although  it would e different  or a orange of brown theme .. i know its defiently not white of pastel colur ... its up to you.  btw congratulations!

Congratulations! I agree with the 25th. One of my daughter's birthdays is on the 29th. She always wants a Halloween themed birthday, lol. She was due on Halloween :)

You could dress up as normal bride, he and his groomsmen are vampires.with teeth and all. (No one knows they are and have teeth)
Once you say your vows, and they say you may kiss your bride
He looks at the crowd and flashes his fangs, you act scared and he bites your neck, you fall in his arms and he dashes out holding you.

That's what dh & I wanted to do, we love Halloween & vampires ( real vampires, not twilight crap)
