Looking for advice on where to have my five year old daughter's birthday party that doesn't involve bowling or an indoor playground (or cost a small fortune). Any suggestions?

What does she like to do? What is your budget?

We did my son's last party at michaels. They have a small craft room you can use for parties.
It was $50 to rent, but as long as 7 kids came, you got that deposit back.
We bought crafts for the kids to do at the store (2 smaller crafts, one main one) as well as bringing in pizza and cupcakes.
It was simple, easy and relatively CHEAP!!!!

We are having my 7 year old son's at The Museum of Science and Industry this year. I would start checking places like that around where you live.
