Mothers day plans?

So what is everyone doing for mothers day?

I still have no clue what we are doing!

Besides church on sunday..I got nothin..but when DH gets a check he's waiting on, we're gonna go see avengers. :)
I'm trying to get out a huge dinner deal that the church is wanting to do for all the mothers..I'm not a huge group person alllll day long. I like simple.

DH kinda sucks at all things sweet and romantic... I get practical gifts and realistic expectations... He proposed when I was in the OR giving birth to our son... I don't really remember the proposal. :-/ DH is in school full-time (doesn't work) and this week he has a lot of studying to do... So I'm just going to go to my Mom's house for the weekend. If he comes over Sunday, Yay, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Did I mention he was raised as a Jehovah's Witness... No holidays... But he does celebrate Mother's Day... This is my first Mother's Day... I have high hopes but low expectations... Kinda sad.

Ok - we may have some plan for Sunday...

I think my family, my mom, my sis and her dh will go to the zoo.

I'm spending the day with my darling baby boy - who is 24 and taller than me, as well as my parents (mom) and my sister and her daughter. In fact, I'm going over to my sister's tonight to spend a little girl time... get the toenails painted and get a hair cut.

I want to just lay in my bed and cry the whole day...

But Leigh and I are going to a potluck hosted by his Aunt for his Grandma's birthday/Mother's Day and then he's taking me to see The Lucky One afterward.  Then we are having brisket and some fixings.
