My (then boyfriend) decided we had no future if he didn't join the Army. Neither of our families had the $ for college. He joined and his first station was Germany. He asked me to marry him. It was either he went for 2yrs without me or (if married) we went together for 3yrs. couldn't let him go. I was 16 and he was 21. Everyone told us we were stupid and it would never last.
* Today is our 22nd Anniversary! I love him more everyday & he is truly my best friend. We have 3 amazing sons...Dj is 20, David is 18 & our baby Ryan is 14. And no matter what happens as long as he is there to hold my hand we can get through anything!*
