I thought I was hearing a squirrel in the back deck this morning but when I went to the window to see what it was doing I had a big surprise. It was a BEAR!!!!! Of course it left pretty quickly but I hope that isn't a habit we're starting. Yikes!!

We've been having the same thing happen to us. Due to the mild winter they came out of hibernation earlier. So we didn't put out a bird feeder this year and only give our dog a little food at a time. Do you have a motion sensor camera? My husband uses one for hunting. I think I may have him hang it on our back porch. I'd love to get a close picture of them.
