So, tell me your favorite quote...

I love quotes and I have several posted on my Facebook page.  My favorite 2 are:

"A home does not rest upon the ground, it rests upon a woman." Mexican proverb

"Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars."  Khalil Gibran

ok ok, one more:

"I am way too cute to do that..."  JAF

"If you are going to be part of my world, you need to suspend all judgement." ~~ Howard Stern

This is very fitting to my specific situation right now.  We have a job opening at work for something I would love to do, but I haven't applied because they say they want someone with a masters.  My coworkers are encouraging me, my boss even encouraged me, but I am afraid to take the chance because I hate hearing no.

I just need a little shot of courage.

Love your favs.  I have 2:  'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened' (unknown)    and 'Most people go to their graves with their music still inside of them' (also unknown)

Momma, you need to try for it!  They will probably be thrilled to have you apply, because in-house talent makes good sense, and they won't have to get accustomed to someone new.  I would also think they'd make an exception to the Master's qualification because you have documented work experience in lieu of that.  Good luck!!
