I LOVE pinterest. I have done so many things that I never would have thought to do with my son, who is 2. We just got done playing with colored vinegar and baking soda. I went back to pinterest to find another idea since I'm bored & IT'S DOWN RIGHT NOW!
Anywho, here are some other things I have done:
-Dry erase booklet. I bought a preschool workbook and put each page in a sheet protector and bound them in a binder. He can redo the page as many times as he likes! I also did this with a few coloring pages. Did you know that there are dry erase crayons? They're awesome.
-Air dry clay in a big balloon. My son played with this for forever before it busted. Then I just took the clay & put it into another balloon. He still molds stuff with it from time to time, it's great!
-Balloon ping pong. You decorate paper plates, glue a stick of some sort onto them (We used paint stirrers) and blow up a balloon or twenty and hit them around a room.
-Memory coin holder. We are living in Europe right now, so we have a bunch of Euro coins. And Carnival coins. And Swiss franks (sp?). So we took them all & put them in a picture frame. I would have never thought of that on my own. My son had fun helping arrange the coins.
then we also have window crayons that we play with a lot & string beads on neon rubberish string stuff.
What do you do with your kids that they love from Pinterest or just in general?
I have not, but it sounds really good! I'll look it up!

I have done so much on Pinterest! Mainly food! There are some amazing healthy eating ideas.
okay, let's say you see a recape that you would like to try-just not right now. Well you 'pin' it to a board of your choice. And later, you can go back to that board, click your pin, and it will take you to the origional site of the recipe! at first it's very confusing, but once you get a couple pins you'll be like "WHY did I not start doing this sooner?"

I have a pontereat acct but I only "like" things because I don't know what exactly "repin" does. Can you tell me? Lol
Glad to help! My son is 2 as well. Today we are doing 'cloud dough' which is 4 cups flour and 1/2 cup baby oil....It's going to be messy, but hopefully the fun will outweigh that!

These are some great ideas! I haven't thought to find crafts on there to do with my now 2 yr old. Thank you for sharing!
I have one that's wooden letters covered in glitter that I want to do for the kids room... So I liked it lol
Do I name my own boards?

Yes, you get to name your own boards. I *think* it comes with a few boards when you join, but if not it's REALLY easy to make one. You pin something, and a pop up thing comes up & it gives you a choice of what board you want to put it on, your own description, and all that fun stuff. You can choose one that's already made or create one right then & there.

See that's what I do with my "likes" lol
