help i have poison ivy UPDATE STILL NEED HELP

i got the pink lotion stuff 

is there something more affective, home remedie ?

so i got the pink lotion applied that 3 times and did 2 baking soda pate thingys

an still it looks the same an sorta spread on one elbow, 

SHOULD I go to the doctor ?

I've heard Colgate toothpaste... not the gel kind.  I've never tried it, but i've heard it works great.

Benedryl it dries it out from the inside out.  It is the ONLY thing that has worked for my son.  Who is so allergic.

Go to the doctor - they can give you a steriod to kill it.

For the itch - leave the calamine lotion In the fridge - stay out of the sun and take cool showers - there's an oatmeal bath mixture you can buy at the drug store that helps soothe it as well. ;)

maybe its not poison ivy, because honestly i dont know where i would have got it, but i was up to my elbows cleaning my tub with a new cleaner, however i would have thought that after two rounds of benedryl it would have changed , im going to the doctor this is crazy

well everyone talked me out of it, my dh, boss an mom all said its poison ivy it takes a while to heal 

go get techu, clean it, put the pink lotion on after an take a benadryl for itching 

soooo thats what i did
