Hello everyone. I joined this site to keep my mind off of current situations. I am here to receive encourgement from other moms. I am the proud mother of four beautiful children (17-11). Kevin my oldest will be a freshman at Boston College this fall. Tyriq my second oldest is 13. He loves to play basketball. And lastly, are my /twin girls Aaliyah And Alyssah. They will be entering the sixth grade. As for me, my birthday is on Tuesday 8/28/12. I am excited. I am looking to start new relationships and just get some support. Sometimes the support from strangers is more healthy than your own family. I just wanted to also mention that I am in need of some help. I work part time as a cna and I am struggling to stay above the water. Living in CT has been a little hard. I hope that this message falls on the hearts of those who are a little more fortunate than others and can be a help. Thank you for this opportunity too share a little of myself with you guys. And please feel free to leave comments and information that will help make my situation a little better.

 Thank you for introducing yourself and welcome to CM.  I don't think you could have found a better support group.  I am a single parent of two and have a very limited budget as well.  Sometimes it gets old clipping coupons and taking the calculator with me to the grochery store (so I don't spend too much) but we do the best that we can with what we have.  Keep your chin up, try to stay positive, and know that you are providing your children with as much love, security, and support their hearts can manage.  The rest are just material things  ......

Hello and welcome! My sons birthday is the same day as yours, he will be 8. I also have a 13 yr old son. Ive been married 14 yrs and weve pretty much always had to scrape just to get by. We live in Oregon, we are from San Diego but moved here 4 yrs ago. Im tired of scraping, but we always manage somehow. My hubby works and Im on disability for depression and anxiety and all that kind of icky stuff. We may be broke, but my boys are my life, they are why I continue getting up every morning. I hope things start looking up for you. Looking forward to getting to know you better :-)
