My dh works and he works hard. He has been working on the yard we rent our house in. He has to work on it when he can. First thte neighbor complained because some branches hung over his fence. We fixed it. My dh has made a stack of yard debris thinking that we could call the brush removal people and have it picked up. We can not. They don't pick up at our address because it is county, not city. So, dh found a burn barrel and found out the rules for using it. He has been slowly burning off the debris. He has done this THREE times. So today the neighbor who wanted us to get rid of the debris, stacked neatly in our yard in a back corner NOT near the neighbors fence told my dh....."I know you want to get rid of the debris, but the smoke is annoying". I mean come on, we are in our yard, with a burn barrel, not a bon fire and slowy but surely burning it off as per the rules. This man does nothing but complain. The roots from our trees, on the property we do NOT own is causing him trouble. We can do nothing about this. THat is on hte landlord. But we keep our lawn neat and tidy. We can't have someone come pick up debris. We have no way to take it off and the garbage truck does not pick up yard debris. What does he expect us to do.
insert eye rolling again.

Wow! I thought our neighbors were bad. Luckily they have to move. YEAH! Ask him "Do you want us to get rid of the debris or not"? When we had a storm we had a huge tree kind of in our yard. A few neighbors got together and cut it down and choped it up. It got thrown in our truck and hubby hauled it away even though it was not our tree. We are nice neighbors :) Noone even bothered to volunteer to go so they could help unload it. They all took off.
I hear you. Our neighbor in our rented duplex is pissed because we don't water to 3x4 space of sod that HE planted in front of the house, and he is pissed if we walk on it once a week to take the trash out. The pipes aren't even hooked up on our side so we can water outside. But we get to listen to him scream all over the neighborhood for his kid to come home. It sucks to be the shitty neighbor I guesss ( eye roll)
