What is one opportunity you believe you missed out on when you were younger?

1 mom liked this

My parents kicked me out in my senior year. Rather than just putting up with the boyfriend from hell, and giving me that abilitly to finally see what a craphead he is, they told me to leave so they wouldn't have to put up with him. I wound up giving up all of my dreams of the military and college to be his wife. 14 years later, I was finally strong enough to escape him.

I had a chance to be in the Coast Guard. Which is really hard to get into. You have to have a certain score or above on the test you take and I had scored WAY above that score. But I passed on it. Wish I hadnt of now.

Spend more time with my grandfather and uncle and appreciate going on trips and things.

Without a doubt getting to know my sister.  My mother had her when I was two and gave her up for adoption.  We met again when I was 25.  As much as we try, we just can't get that time back.

Spending time with my father.  I highly resent my mother for this.

Really being serious about high school. I just wanted to run around with friends and didn't take school or my grade seriously.

Going out with my friends, being a teenager....I didn't have the greatest childhood.

I wish my mom would have let me hang out with friends more as a teenager.

I don't think I missed out on anything, I am pretty happy with how my life has turned out.
