So somewhere around 12:30 a police officer showed up at my front door and said my mom was stable, but in a local hospital.
He could tell me no more.
Long story short, she was mugged leaving dinner. She was bleeding and badly bruised on various body parts. The piece of shit ripped her bag off her arm and knocked her to the ground, resulting in head injuries, arm injuries, leg injuries, etc...
I am still in shock. The rage is just bubbling now.

I'm sorry, I hate thieves, low life guy...pry on good people. I hope she bounces back quick...no one deserves that...he should work not steal from hard workers. Karma will get him ten times more.

Oh my goodness!!!! How awful! Keep an eye on her the next few months, my grandma was mugged (at gun point, but still) and she was mentally messed up over it. Your mom my need help coping with this traumatic event. I hope she recovers soon :(
