Just want to wish everyone out there, whatever your religion, a joyous a blessed "Festival of Lights", aka Hanukah! This is a wonderful time of year for all of us to enjoy peace and fellowship and to enjoy family and friends.
My family enjoys both Hanukah (I converted to Judaism before marrying my wonderful husband) and Christmas. My DH & DD and I light our candles & say the traditional blessings and we then enjoy Christmas with my parents, brothers and their families.
Enjoy your holidays and remember: Traditions are made within your family, so make your own traditions!

Happy Chanukah to you! I celebrated both holidays when I was growing up. My dad is Jewish and my mom is Scottish. In the Hebrew religion the offspring take the religion of the mom, but my Grandma always had Chanukah happenings going on and always included me in them. I really enjoyed learning about and taking part in both holidays. **my dad even ended up being Santa most of the time, lol**
Question....if your spouse passes away and you get remarried......
