NO no, not the flu............

My little girl (age 9) was officially diagnosed with the flu today. She is miserable. It started with fever yesterday.  The doctor prescribed Tamiflu.  Hopefully, no one else gets it...yikes.

UPDATE:  Just checked on her and she is sleeping,but hot as a firecracker. I hate fever...I know it is the body's way of fighing illness, but I hate when they feel so hot to the touch.  At least her breathing is some better. We gave a breathing treatment as approved by the doctor and she is resting comfortably.

Thanks. DH picked up the meds.  75 dollars with insurance for the medicine! YIKES. Please God don't let any of the rest of us get it, no way we can afford 75 times 5.  YIKES.

Thank you...seems we were doing so great and then BOOM...everybody has been sick.  I am going to be cleaning tomorrow, top to bottom, opening windows and doors, wrap my dd in blankets and air out this house.

I despise the flu.  **Who actually likes it though, lol?!?**  I don't think that flu shots work.  Just my opinion, but at least one of us gets the flu every year and it's just as worse, if not MORE worse, if we get the flu shot beforehand. :/
