Do you think she was rude?

My step-dad's niece is having a Bat Mitzvah celebration in a couple of months.

Last week, her dad (my step-dad's brother) asked my mom if she could find out if I was coming or not. 

Three days ago, I got this message from her mom on Facebook: 

"I was just wondering if you and Seth were planning on attending Lindsay's bat mitzvah. I am trying to finalize tables and some other details and really need to know. Thanks... "

Responses are "due" tomorrow. I put mine in the mail yesterday, which is cutting it close, I admit, possibly even going to get there late, but it was not late when she sent me that message.

Would you be annoyed with a message like that?

No seems chill to me. Could have just messages her back on Facebook and said yeah we are coming my RSVP will be late in the mail though

I did message her with my response and I let her know that it was in the mail. And it will probably not be late, just right on time.

No it wasn't. All you had to say yes we are going. I send out the rsvp so it should get to you shortly by the end of this week

No she wasnt rude. I think its rude to wait until the very last minute to respond to an rsvp. I would have just messeged her back and said yes we are going.

Nope not rude. Don't be so sensitive. If you send RSVP's on time you won't get ask repeatedly if your attending. I thought her message was nice.

I think it was fine. When it comes to a big event like that, people want to make sure they have their bases covered. I would do it to double check.
