Taylor Swift tickets for Christmas..NOT the response I was expecting!

I saved $ , and got 2 floor seat tickets for my 11 year old daughter and me. So, the plan was, wrap a concert t-shirt, bracelet and when my daughter opened them, I would tell her the exciting news "We are going to see Taylor Swift in concert!!"  Well, after she opened them, I told my daughter, then she dramatically turned her head, buried her head in the couch and started bawling.  She was UPSET!! Why? Because Taylor Swift is/was dating the boy from One Direction!  Me: Why are you upset?  Daughter: Because she's going to break up with him. And write a song about it!!!!!. LOL. Oh my goodness, it was the funniest thing!  She later apologized and said she wants to go." It's just I don't want her to break his heart".  Awww... my baby is growing up.

So, my question is, if you have a "tween", has she done something that just baffles you? Boy oh boy, my daughter does!

my daughter doesn't care who she is dating.  She has even told me that it is not her life. She is a huge Taylor fan and would love to go.

I have 3 tweens, a teen, and a 4 year old.  My girls are 13, 12, 11 and 10.  So yes...they all have their silliness :)
