Hi all, Good Morning!!

If you make it through this post without gagging and puking from the sugary sweetness of it, please leave your own favorite time of day, activity, places to go etc... with your little ones. I LOVE hearing the cute happy posts and comments and not always focusing on the bad/depressing ones. I completely understand that we all need to vent or get advice, but its nice to throw in more positives. Just my opinion...

I guess you could say I'm in one of those content sort of mommy moods lol... Hunter and I have been up since around 7 by ourselves, like most mornings. We live with my parents right now who are both retired so most mornings they tend to sleep in lol.

Anyway, it just kinda hit me... These quiet early mornings with my little bubs has become my favorite time of day. To understand just why I find this so amusing, you must know that I have NEVER been a morning person in my entire life. Until my son got here. If someone had told me a couple years ago that I would would become a content morning person within a couple years I would have laughed in their face and walked away lol.
Seriously though, there's something about starting a beautiful early morning by walking into my son's room, looking into his crib and seeing him looking up at me with this absolutely adoring, toothless smile, and I am instantly thankful for this little being having been brought into my life.
Breakfast and cartoon time has become such an easy, happy routine for the two of us. We really don't do much, but there is just something completely wonderful about getting to have the first 1-2 hours of the day be just the two of us.

It is my wish right now, that no matter what, no matter how crazy our schedules ever get, that we always find the time EVERY morning, just the two of us. I feel like it should always be our special time of the day (bed and bath time routine is also, but that's another story lol!) so anyway, that's my positive post of the day.

Completely understand! Hunter went through a period of about two weeks where he decided we were going to get up anywhere between 4 and 5am... I thought I was going to die lol!

We are going on a little over 2 years.  I am OVER IT!  I have an appointment with a sleep specialist next Friday.  Hopefully they can help me.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as you, and it's so lovely to hear. My mom lives with us and even though my husband gets up wicked early in the morning, he's gone by the time our little one is awake. So we get that time together as well and it truly is a peaceful and amazing thing to have. I'm so glad to hear that someone else appreciates it, too.

I love spending time with my youngest, I plan on taking her and my 13 year old to Frankenmuth in the next month.
