The Lounge The Lounge

3 week old fell off bed

I was feeding my 3 week old son & i accidentally dozed off & the next thing i knew my son was rolling off the bed & landed on his stomach. He cried right away & i think he was more scared than anything but calmed down after i picked him up. I feel so bad about it & definitely learned my lesson. Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes.  When my daugther was a newborn, I fell asleep and nudged her off the bed myself.   I almost died of guilt. Luckily, my daughter was fine, but I never breast fed her in bed EVER after that.

Worse...my 9 month old did a face plant into my plate at chic-fil-a...full speed! Knocked the plate onto the floor and ended up with a huge bruise on his forehead

I was co sleeping with my 2nd when he was a newborn. I went to bed with a blanket on just me. I wake up and its on top of him and covering his face. He didnt sleep with me ever again. I was too scared at that point.

My son fell off the couch because I didn't know he could roll over yet :/  I felt terrible.
