My boyfriend and I have talked about getting promise rings. We've been together a year now and it doesn't seem like we are going to break up anytime soon.

I looked on Amazon for promise rings and I found a few I like. Which do you like?

Option 1... Footprints

Option 2... Heartbeat

Option 3... Lock and key

Option 4... Love

Option 5... Me and you

Option 6... You make me happy everyday

This is a silly waste of money. Use the money to pay for some education.

I like 4, but I have to say, IMO, engagement rings are for the "grown ups."

Rings are smiles for the moment but it's keeping the fulfillment of the promise that counts

I haven't heard of promise rings outside of high school.

I thought promise rings were for couples too young to be engaged? Why not just get engagement rings?

I like #4, but they all kinda look like wedding bands to me.  Although I heartily advocate you spending your bucks on what you want to (it IS a free country after all!), you might want to consider holding off and putting that money toward engagement and/or wedding rings.  Glad you're in a relationship that you think is promising-no matter your age.  I found myself at age 38 with a 47 year old significant other who considered himself my boyfriend, so that's what I called him.  Too old for that term, perhaps.  Do what makes you comfortable and happy.

fingers crossed

I dont' really see the point. they're pretty but if you're serious and your adults old enough to be engaged why would you get promise rings. that's for teens who are "engaged to be engaged."
