ok i know im not that old, BUT lately i have been thinking about memories when i wasjust a carefree teenager having fun with my friends. life feels like you blink and youre onto the next minute youre onto the next chapter in your life. Ive even listened to some music that seems to take me back in the day. does anyone else ever have those moments? :- )

I definately love music that takes me back to middle school....or the last week of senior year. Some songs have very specific memories attached. I dont really "miss" my teenage years, I had lots more fun when I was 20, 21, 22. =)

Music definitely has a way to evoke literally every emotion you can think of. Sometimes I feel so homesick after hearing a song. Other times you can smell certain scents that you associate with a song. It works on so many areas of the brain. It is truly one of life's greatest gifts.

My mom says that, haha. I have a list of words "that Momma says". I catch myself saying them at times and thats how I know I'm getting older. (I'm only 29)
