Babysitting fee

I have a friend who wants me to keep her baby once it's born. Like all day while she is at work from 7 to 4. What's reasonable rate to charge her?

If it was M-F, I would charge about $100 a week.

The lady who watches my kiddos occasionally charges me $20 per day per kid and it doesn't matter if it is a few hours or all day. Another lady used to charge me. $15 for both for 4 hours or $15 each all day.

i think it really depends on where you live, i well be doing in home care an charging 40 bucks a day we live in a big city though with lots of higher income familys

i would at least charge 25-30 a day its still work

Depends on a lot of factors. Is it a close friend? Do you need the money?

In my area at least $150 a week.

It depends on where you live.  I live in MA; its expensive.  Those hours would go for about $55/day here.

going rate here is $20 an hour

or because its 5 days a week, $500 a week

not sure what your going rate is, but no less than $500 a week
