Do u need pasta for shrimp scampi

Lol..not the way i make it.
Put the cleaned shrimp in a broiler safe dish with tails up...stoneware..drizzle melted butter, fresh garlic, and bread crumbs..you can add a liitle parsley at this point too.. Broil until pink. Once it is slmost finished ..about two minutes prior or so , squeeze fresh lemon juice over all shrimp. Broil until pink and bread crumbs a little toasted. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
You could serve over angel hair pasta or with red potatos. Yum..

To make the actual dish you only need shrimp, oil, garlic, and parsley. I serve it with pasta or rice though.
