I am having light pelvic cramps like when im on my period. I also get these light aches around my tummy like when you work out and your abs are sore.. is this what hicks contractions feel like? I dont feel my stomach tightening up when I have these pains.

I take it your pretty early? Around 20 weeks? You aren't having Braxton hicks, probably just ligament pain which is totally normal.

You should go to your doctor, that's what they're for. I had bad ligament pain when I was pregnant and he gave me some Tylenol 3 for the pain.

If you are concerned, call your doctor and ask. That is always your best bet. Most times it is nothing to worry about and fluids and rest is all you need. Feel better. Hugs and prayers. I had cramps like that off and on throughout all my pregnancies.  But everyone is different so calling your doctor will help.

I am 22 weeks 2 days. The thing is I told my doc. and he acts like its nothing and tells me nothing that will help the pain go away its not severe just annoying.

Sounds like some normal stretching pains...

Will it cause problems for me to have a natural birth?
