Dh took off from work to drive and chaperone for ds1's field trip.
Ds1 had a great time and dh did too. Ds1's teacher already asked dh if he would attend their end of the year pool trip.
Dh and I typically both take off one day a year and attend 2 different field trips for ds1.
We're going to have to make a new plan once ds2 starts field trips next year!
So does your dh take off to attend a field trip occasionally?

Dh is a teacher as well, so his hours conflict in regards to volunteering, but this is one thing he has always done. :)

Nope, neither of us go. He's always working, and I have younger kids. Siblings normally aren't allowed. When siblings are allowed to their school functions then I always make it. : )

I think ds1 has 2 more with one in- house field trip.
