Pets - what would you want? What are your limits?

Personally, I am a dog person, but no one in my family wants a dog ... So we are remaining pet free for the time being...

But what pets could you not handle?

For me, snakes would be a hard core NO! I'm not a big cat person, but have had one in the past. I'd rather not deal with cage cleaning, so that takes hamsters/guinea pigs, birds, etc... Out of the mix.

What about you?

I love dogs & cats. We have a dog. DS (16) is allergic to cats. Once he is out of the house for good I might get one. But not within the next 5 years.

Snakes, spiders, & rodents are a no-no for me.

I would draw the line at reptiles only because I know I would be cleaning cages we have had fish, parakeets( ok never again with birds either). cat, house rabbit, and growing up we had darn near everything.

What was your favorite type of childhood pet?

1 mom liked this

I draw the line at any pet that would live in a cage.

We have two dogs in the house.

One dog outside and some cats outside.

Plus we have horses, a llama and a mini donkey.

He's a 20 pound Yorkie Mix. His name is Odin. We rescued him a year ago. My almost 4 year old is attached to him. And the feeling is mutual. Haha

We have 2 cats a turtle a chinchilla and just got a dog.We are finding out we are not dog people. We are cat people. I draw the line at insects. Other than that I dont care. I dont mind birds but letting them out freaks me out lol. The nneighbors behind us have a horse and 2 llamas. I like them but I dont have to clean up after them. :-)
