I asked my husband for a back massage well before bedtime, he said his hands hurt (weather change) and there was no way. I took a warm bath, and tried to relax. Im a sahm, hes working some overtime from 6-4:30. I woke up at 3:00 am with severe back pain! Couldnt breath back pain, it was in my throat, my upper back and the top of my stomach. I was bloated achy and had serious heartburn. I walked around, took two tylenol, drank a glass of milk, and tried stretching... nothing relieved the pain. I finally ( through tears) woke husband up and asked for a back massage. Sometimes you just need that kind of relief! But he rudely refused and went back to sleep. Leaving me sobbing on the bed!

My husband would have helped. I didn't have similar issues while pregnant, but I have back pain at other times and there have been times when I've been all but incapable of doing things for myself. he's had to help me on and off the toilet before (embarrassing even with someone I'd been with for 10 years at that point, some things are sacred ;) ) and in many of the spasms, I've needed help rolling over in bed, he's never hesitated to help. I'm sorry he's being so rude, I'd be angry if I was treated like that.
