Do you have any?

Do you use them frequently?

Do you use them for anything specific?

After an ugly divorce, I have no credit and no credit cards. It's good and bad, but mostly good.

I have 3, 2 are for clothing stores and one's just a basic card.

I've never used my basic one yet, don't really plan on using it much either...

Sorry to hear! My credit was pretty ugly due to stupidity.
It's now a ok again, I'm hoping to keep it that way...

Yes - dh and I use them for virtually everything.

It'll work out, but it won't be quick. I was left with $30k in CC debt and a foreclosure on my record. My ex makes about $150k/year but did a very good job of hiding his income. I was bitter for awhile, but I'm working on settling the outstanding debt and moving forward. Not cool, but if the choice is bad credit or being with him...I'll deal with the bad credit. Lol

We use them, we have a preloaded one for ds14 that he can use if needed. points, savings, but we don't carry balances except for major purchases like flooring or lge appliances, and those are no interest for two yrs kind of deals, so we can sock more in the retirement fund and let the money work for us, pay off the balance before the interest accrues and we got to use the banks money for free.

We use them for everything --even utilities, car payment, and the mortgage-- and pay them off every month.  Everything is set up on auto pay, so I know exactly when the money will go out.  The ONLY time we don't, is if we get six or 12 months same-as-cash for a major purchase.

As someone else said, points are wonderful.  I use the points to buy Amazon gift cards, and then I buy anything I want, for the cheapest price I can find, with FREE money.  I use the Target Redcard instead of the points card, because I get an automatic 5% off everything.  I also have a Fuel Network Card, which gives me .05 per gallon discount per $50 spent at participating vendors during a month.  You just give the clerk the card to swipe, then pay with your points card, and get the discount when you fill up.  I've had a discount as much a .65/gallon!!

Edited to add: We are going for a long weekend to Key West, and EVERYTHING--hotel, airfare, and rental car--is paid for with points.
