Has anyone seen the movie?

What did you think?

Don't care for Ayn Rand, never read her books but wanted to see this movie.

A powerful railroad executive, Dagny Taggart, struggles to keep her business alive while society is crumbling around her. Based on the 1957 novel by Ayn Rand.

I don't like the idea of Free Market. The Objectivist point-of-view is lacking too much empathy for me I guess. lol But I think I might read "The fountainhead" just to see what it's all about. I watched her life story, obviously the situation with her dads business being taken shaped her views.

1 mom liked this

It supports Free Markets, no rules holding back companies. It's not very entertaining but the movie is more about sending a message to rich people. :)

I would be intrigued by a movie version, and there is no doubt Rand is brilliant...but this novel is subcoscoiusly eletist. Sorry; in English, I mean it's somewhat racist...
