Is 230 lbs too fat to tan?

I saw this in the news tonight.

Ohio salon put weight limit on a customer after she bought month-long tanning package.

What do you think?  My thought is that she should at least be offered a refund since she was never told this "policy" from the beginning.

If it's a matter of a weight limit in the tanning bed then I get it, BUT they should have told her that when she initially purchased the package.  And for them to not give her a refund is ridiculous.

They should have warned her she was too big before taking her money.

If she was not told the policy or given the policy she should be given a refund. If it is a matter of the weight limit of the beds, they are trying to keep their equipment in working order. However, she is due a refund without notice given.

If it wasn't in a contract and they didn't tell her there was a weight limit then she should be refunded.  Maybe she can take them to court.
