What exactly do you eat on a normal day?

I look at others who look fit and healthy and really wonder.

So tell me:

  • What did you eat today?
  • What did you eat yesterday?
  • Do you consider yourself fit and healthy?

I haven't eaten anything yet today.

Yesterday I ate some Chocolatey Delight Special K cereal for breakfast.

Pita pocket with turkey, lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing for lunch.

A piece of chicken and some lettuce and tomato in a salad for dinner.

I don't consider myself healthy, but I am trying to be as healthy as I can.

I havent eaten yet today but yesterday i ate a bagel for breakfast, sandwich for lunch, and pizza for dinner.

In general i try and eat fairly healthy but im not a health freak. i enjoy me some pizza or other junk foods in limited quantities.

I'm far from healthy...

I usually do not eat anything until dinner...I drink lots of water.

I've had a banana and a peach today...they were delicious!

Today I had cereal and fruit for breakfast, cheese and crackers for lunch and homemade "fried" rice with lots of veggies for dinner (weight watchers recipe).  I'll have some grapes or an apple later tonight.

That sounds pretty healthy to me!  No snacking?

Why don't you eat until dinner?

Do you snack after dinner?

For breakfast I have:

Dry cereal or an egg over easy with toast or a bagel (I always splurge on butter or cream cheese though not a lot) or a hard boiled egg with 4 saltines and 1 oz of cheese or mini muffins or breakfast "cupcakes" with a serving of hashbrowns, a single sausage topped with an egg. On a splurge day I have 3 pancakes, 3 bacon and hashbrowns with 2 eggs over easy. And fruit with every type of breakfast.

For lunch I usually have a sandwich with carrots or celery a peice of fruit and a serving of chips.

For dinner it varies but it is almost always healthy. We have tacos on a regular basis, spaghetti is another hit, tonight I made shrimp stir fry with jasmine rice and asparagus. We have fish and other seafood at least 2 times a week, red meat 1-2 days a week and white meat or poultry 3-4 days a week. We pair any of this with a starchy food, a non starchy vegetable and often more fruit.

Snacks can include chips (rarely), fruits and veggies, occassionally real fruit juice fruit snacks, home made popsicles, small salads, nuts, granola bars, etc.

I am healthy but not particularly fit (I am working on it though)
