Do you leave your doors unlocked?

My bff said she never locks her doors. Do you ever leave your doors unlocked on your vehicles and/or your home? Would you feel safe if you did?

I always lock my doors - always have. It is not a reflection of my area being "unsafe" - just a habit I have. Dh and I will be outside together doing something, I'll walk back in and inadvertently lock him out by accident - I don't even know I am doing it!

I lock everything. I have always had a thing of making sure everything is locked at all times.

I lock the doors of my house when I am not home and when I am sleeping. I always keep my car doors locked when it's in the driveway (don't trust certain people, that live here, to stay out of it) and most places that I go. I don't lock it when I am at work or shopping locally.

I lock my doors on my house and I park my car in my locked garage.

I would not feel safe if the doors weren't locked.

Nope, we rarely lock anything. I usually leave my keys in my car.

My house yes, my car no, I don't leave anything of value in it and I of course don't leave my keys in it. If they really wanted the car that bad they would have no issue just breaking my window and proceeding on.

When I was a kid in a different area, we didn't lock anything.

We just got an home security system put in our home last month... And we only leave our cars unlocked when we're at our in laws house in the rural country.
