The Lounge The Lounge

Have you seen the new cover of Rolling Stone with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev?

The headline on the cover reads, “The Bomber. How a popular, promising student was failed by his family, fell into radical Islam and became a monster.”

What do you think?  Should Rolling Stone have gone this far?

It's blowing up my FB.  I haven't seen it in a store yet.  The article would be okay to read, but they should not have him on the cover.

I guess I don't see how it's different than every other news magazine plastering his pic on the cover of mags.  And I know this will be an unpoplular opinion, but I feel like the headline is accurate.  I think this kid did have potential and he got caught up with his brother and his sick radical islamic views.  Do I think that makes him less guilty?  Absolutely not.  But do I think had his brother not gotten in his head he could have been something.. yes I do.
