How much would you expect?

How much would you ask for a 2002 Pontiac sunfire? The body is good, but a mirror is broken. The brake lights don't work and its leaking coolant and power steering fluid. It over heats. It's just sitting in the driveway and I'd like to get rid of it.

Have you checked the value in the Kelly Blue Book? Or on autotrader.com?

Check the Kelley Blue Book value.  Once you've determined your price, you should also add O.B.O. (or best offer) and decide what the lowest $$ amount is that you will take.

I sold my 2001 in 2010 for $1500 I think it was. I had bought it for around the same just about a year prior for a work car. So maybe a little shy from that. Ours was good but the check engine light would come on for no known reason and we sometimes had to use the spray to boost the AC.

My hubby said maybe like $800 or such with all the issues

Honestly, it sounds like it has a cracked motor and needs a water pump. If the repairs cost more than $500... Then I would suggest doing a cash for clunkers type deal. Possibly post it on trade/barter on Craigslist. Good Luck.

I did and it said $1900, but I couldn't enter the condition of the car.

I would put $1200.00 O.B.O., for your car.

$500 tops.  It has a lot of mechanical problems and not having brake lights could get someone pulled over before they even made it home and that's if the lack of fluid doesn't make them stop before then.
