We are looking to get a puppy. My friends dog just had puppies. The mom is pit bull (very kind and gentle), and the dad is lab. What kind of dog do you have?

I grew up with Miniature Schnauzers, but I don't have a dog now.

I have a Blue Heeler and an Australian Shepherd/ Husky mix. Kind of worried about the heeler being around kids. She has a deeply rooted instinct to herd. She nipped my niece's butt a couple years ago (just caught fabric no skin). And she watches kids at the park like a hawk.
The Aussie husky mix is an amazing dog but she cries a lot at night if she isn't allowed to sleep in our room.

Toy poodle. Good with all dogs and kids, non shedder , rings a bell to go outside to pee, lives to learn new tricks( we've run out of new trick ideas for her) does agility in the backyard ( although after 10 min she's ran all energy out) , not hyper or over active , and meshes well with hubbub of active family. She's not the cutest breed . But I researched her breed ad it was a perfect match for us.
