from the Tooth Fairy?

My 6 yr old has her first loose tooth.  This is the first time we get to get visits from the Tooth Fairy.   Looking for ideas on how much to leave.

Thanks

***Thanks for the help ladies.  It looks like we might give $2 for the first tooth and $1 for each tooth after***

A dollar or two. I think I gave my son a dollar in quarters. He was happy with that :) I didn't have any dollars on me so I found some quarters.

We gave my son a $1.00 when he lost his first tooth last month.

2 moms liked this

My son lost his first tooth out of the blue.  I didn't even know it was loose.  This happened at  8 pm at night and all my husband and I had on us was a 5 and a 20 bill.  We didn't want to go out and get change so, it was one or the other, lol.  He got the $5.  The next tooth came out again, without me knowing (my son has no problem pulling his own teeth out), all we had was 2 quarters and a $5.  He received the $5 again.  By this time, my son was thinking that the tooth fairy leaves him $5 for every tooth but wanted to know why his friends only got a $1.  I told him well, I think it depends on what mood the tf is in and when she gets to your house.  He said "ok".  The next tooth was out and I gave him $1.  The next morning he said, "Mom, this stinks.  The tooth fairy must of been in a very bad mood", then he walked away.  He has gotten $1 since then.

I think she left $5 for the first tooth and $1 for each additional tooth.
