My initial thought isn't that he's looking at things he shouldn't be, but rather seeking privacy. The fact that you're looking at the history speaks volumes to the lack of privacy he has throughout the relationship. I don't understand why women think that people cease to be autonomous individuals once they say I do.

It doesnt necessarily mean that he's cheating or anything. I delete my browsing history all the time because I don't want other people that use my computer in my business whether its my online banking site or Cafemom. I have that right and so does your husband. Since it seems like you're going behind him to see what he's doing...I understand just why he does it.

LOL...I had to teach my Honey how to use private browsing so he'd quit deleting the history or, worse, forgetting to delete the history.

Browsing in private? I've heard of that feature. That doesn't leave a history.
I'd ask him what's up

At home, there shouldn't be a reason for that from your spouse UNLESS the other party is trying to set up a surprise of some sort or buying gifts for you.  Is that not an option?

How do you know he's private browsing?

That's why it's called PRIVATE.  Your browser shouldn't be keeping the history of anything private.

I agree with the poster that asked why you feel the need to look through his private browsing history.

It's none of your business.

I use incognito mode for several reasons. 1. If its a work computer and I'm at home after work using it to browse the interweb. 2. It doesn't store passwords or auto fill information. 3. It won't bog down my PC with cookies and cache processes and all that jazz. 4. Secret shopping for birthdays, holidays and adult toys.
Plus a plethora of other reasons.

i would suspect porn lol everything else would be on his phone in today's modern technology driven world... i would assume??

i'm an overthinker and expect the worse but maybe, he does the private browsing at work, and it just in the habit of it when he comes home??  i know i used to do that out of habit and i wasn't doing anything bad.

maybe he's looking up something geeky and doesnt want you to know how nerdy he is?
