Yes of course . She did a great job knowing where to sell to the right people . And also a pot shop is more for medicinal purposes than anything else . And I'll admit that an herbal medication such as marijuana should be prescribed for many health issues like anxiety , depression , seizures , and anorexia . Anyone ever read the article on the little girl who had a terrible seizure disorder ? Her parents went though tons of medications until their daughter was almost a vegetable . . Then they turned to medicinal marijuana that was in a pill form with extremely low amounts of THC in it . Her parents broke up the pill and put it in her cereal . Almost instantly they saw amazing changes in her . Now I believe she's a normal functioning girl who is barely experiencing seizures anymore .

The Colorado picture was photoshopped, but a story has come out about a girl in California, San Fransisco I think. The California story is true.

Quoting elzingah36: Apparently lol!

Quoting BeanieBlue:

I was going to comment on this too! lol

Medical marijuana is actually MORE potent!! And yes...it DOES give you the "munchies"!

The mamma below (in purple) was obviously misinformed!!

Quoting elzingah36: My mother would disagree. She takes it for her cancer. She loves medical marijuana and wishes she got this stuff back in the day lol! She's always chowing down afterwards. Regardless of it being Photoshopped,it would still be a good idea to sell girl scout cookies at a dispensary.

Quoting mommy2adandykid:

oh ffs you all realize that was most likely photoshopped right?  medical marijuana doesn't have the same affects as 'pot' does(ie: munchies).  such stupidity.  it was a cute picture but i can't believe people took it seriously smh

Did you forget liquor stores sell alcohol illegally? Lol

Quoting yayay15: But it's in every restaurant and every store. It is no different. Lol.
Quoting angelachristine:

That is not the same thing at all. Though where I live all the grocery stores are allowed to sell is beer and wine. I don't have a problem with pot or alcohol in moderation in places where it's legal but I don't want my kids around it.

Quoting yayay15: Every grocery store has liquor in it and the Girl Scouts stand outside of those....

Quoting angelachristine:

No. I don't really have a problem with pot and think it should be legal but I wouldn't want my kids to be outside a liquor store either.

A pot Store is an adult place, not very kid friendly. You would let your little one sell in front of it answer all the questions the whole troop will get from being there? Would you sell in front of an adult toy store too? same people different place! Some things children just don't need to be around.

Quoting HiNeedNiki: The people going in and out of a liquor store can be WAY more dangerous than patrons of Walmart or pot dispensaries!

When I used to drink, there was almost always an advanced alcoholic in there getting their fix. Always scary addicts hanging around outside. Always fights starting because of BOOZE. Who the hell ever even starts a fight while high on pot? Pot makes people more agreeable if anything. I would think patrons of a dispensary would be way more laid back and safe in general, based on my observation of pretty much EVERYONE I KNOW, because they've all smoked at one time or another!

Quoting Sparkly3:

Badly worded, places that sell those things exclusively. Would you go and sell in front of a liqour store with the little ones. Walmart Walgreens etc are alright, because it is more of a family place instead of adult oriented

Exactly why my parents had it when my dad had cancer. Not only to feel better but my mom was very concerned with his appetite. She knew what it was like battling cancer having done it twice herself. Off topic of medical, when he died and my mom got old boxes out she found his old pot pipe from the 70s. Lol

Quoting SoCalTx: Um...mommy2adandykid you are very Mis informed or just plain ignorant! Dr's prescribe MJ to cancer Pts and other Pts that are wasting away from not having an appitiete or are too nasuated to eat because it ramps up their appitiete (munchies). I've seen many cancer Pts put healthy weight back on because of this. Do your research before saying stupid stuff.

The point is these are places for Adults, not minors. Yes they sell small ammounts of Alcohol and Tobacco products in Walmart, Grocery stores etc, but it is not all they are selling. They are family friendly.

Hell yeah. Go in for your pot, get your munchies on the way out.  Sound like perfect business placement to me.

I don't know yet. I just got approved on Friday and haven't received my card yet.

Quoting miisha: How is it for your migraines? I have been considering it.

Quoting anotherandree: You betcha! It's a dispensary so (normally) the only people allowed in are card holders and to get a card you (again, generally) have to have a chronic illness like cancer or, in my case, daily migraines.
