How does your SO make it up to you after being a huge d***?

My DF and I had our biggest fight EVER the night before last.  We fought for 2 days.  He was a massive dick.

Today, I had a lot of running around to do with the kids & errands.  I finally got home at about 9PM, exhausted, and came home to PRESENTS and major ass kissing.  He apologized profusely, gave me a foot massage, and pointed me in the direction of my new rainfall massaging showerhead.  I just had the best shower ever.  The fight was worth it.

How does your SO make up with you after a fight?

It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

Also, a little video games never hurt.

He grovels, acts truly contrite ( sometimes tears up) and we are able to figure out when things got out of control and try to not to
let it get there again.

He apologizes, sometimes he'll buy flowers or clean the kitchen. I think he's washed my car and vac'd it in the past a couple of times.

A simple apology works for me.

I can't stand an ass kisser.

I love having my ass kissed by DF because I know it's sincere.  Makes me feel super special and awesome.

Anybody doing it without genuine intentions irritates me, though.  Like people that kiss their bosses' asses for a promotion--so irritating.

We haven't had any truly HUGE fights yet. But he usually does apologize and we discuss it. He's very good about that.
