So, what are you waiting for? Let’s paint a Rainbow with our fingers!
Craft supplies you will need:
- Purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and red paint
- White card stock
Have the children dip 2 fingers in purple paint.
Next, have the children press their 2 fingers at the bottom of a sheet of white card stock.
Then, have the children dip their fingers in blue paint and make 6 fingerprints, all around the 2 purple ones, in an arc-shape (upside down U shape).
After that, have the children dip their fingers in green paint and make fingerprints all around the 6 blue ones.
Have the children repeat until all the Colors of the Rainbow are on their sheet of white card stock.
And, voila, the children have now made a Fingerprint Rainbow! What a simple and easy-to-make Rainbow craft activity for preschoolers and kindergarten children. Just perfect for a Rainbow lesson plan.
