Make Glitter

It is really more like colored sand but it works for glitter.

 I have also had good luck with watered down paint instead of food coloring.


  We just added a few drops to the salt and mixed it with a fork. Our colors were kind of dark so we added in more salt to lighten them. The neon blue came out the prettiest but they were all really beautiful colors.
