We have 2 labs outside who during the late spring-summer sleep on the ground because it is cooler but during the fall/winter they sleep in their dog houses but they haven't started that yet. Our mini-doxie who sleeps inside is shivering already & sleeping under our covers, and she does her outside duty really quickly now!!

I'll let you know as Fall gets closer, this will be the first Fall season our cat has spent with us :) Seems like we've owned her forever now, but it's really only been like 5 months.... :)

The cat and dog are shedding like mad. Is this even normal for fall? Shouldn't they be KEEPING their coat at this point?

Yes they are becoming extra mushy.

Poofy is acting about like she always has. Cuddled up under something and yappy.

My 6 pound Chihuahua is always chilly so when he gets cold he heads to his bed and goes under all of his bedding. He pretty much does this year round. It pretty funny you just see this lump under the blankets.....lol....
