Quoting snuggiewoogie: Oh my! Maybe they could all take a nap......lol....
DVD player. Lot's of easy snacks. Drinks. Small games. Even car games ( I spy etc ) We've driven from NJ to FL (20 hours), TN(15 hours), and NC (8hours)... with 2 kids mutiple times. lol
Have any portable game systems. A DS or leapster?
can you drive over night? put them in the car for bedtime and then drive - i have friends who do that and it works really well; or at nap time.
Other than that I would say movies, games, lots of snacks
Snacks, DVD player with movies, coloring pages, kids songs, towels (in case one gets car sick), 1st aide kit, and a couple of road stops for the kids to get out and stretch their legs. Or driving at night so they sleep on the way there.
When our son was 3, we drove from Washington state to Disneyland. That was a long trip but it went great despite my hatred for media on car trips. No DVD player, no game systems, just us and the scenery, lots of water and snacks and every camp song my husband and I could remember, lol. Not sure if that would work with 4 children though :) Good luck and stay positive!
Snacks, hand held games, road trip games, travel at night if you can. We travelled cross-country (AL/CA) multiple times when I was a kid, and these all kept my brother and me from killing each other, lol!
